We’re stoked to offer up this StingRay Special H bass from our friends over at Ernie Ball Music Man!

The beautiful Burnt Ends finish on this one has a classic look, but isn’t your average 3-tone sunburst like so many basses out there. The roasted maple neck is very comfortable and satiny smooth with the gun oil finish, which makes for a comfortable feel and a fast ride all the way up and down. This is one of those instruments that’s put together well enough to let you feel every little vibration of every note you play.

The electronics is easy to work with yet provides a wide variety of exceptional tones. This axe will make a killer companion on the road and in the studio. The preamp remains punchy and growly but they’ve actually tamed the top end down just a bit. Of course, you also have a treble EQ on the bass in case you want to add more sizzle back into your tone. This is a StingRay bass with a voice designed for today’s music and the needs of today’s musicians.

The StingRay was the first production four string bass to feature onboard active equalization.
