Originally made as a tribute to the great jazz bassist Steve Logan, the Mayones Slogan is a true tone beast. Capable of sounds ranging from warm and round to growly and in-your-face, this beauty can really do it all. It’s a slap machine and a thumper all at the same time. The neck is super comfortable. Slightly wider than a Jazz-style neck, it’s still thin and super fast to maneuver on, while giving you a solid chunk of wood to grab onto when playing. The Bartolini pickups have a touch of natural compression and low-midrange bump to them giving them a focused and punchy sound with some real bark. The maple and mahogany tonewood combination throughout this bass helps give it some brightness without scooping out too much of the mid-range. A classy and understated, yet extremely sexy look helps put the bow on this complete package.

The Slogan Classic bass follows the exact specification of its inventor: Bartolini passive pickups combined with Aguilar active electronics for tonal versatility and Ebony fingerboard and Ebony Macassa top for splendid looks. The rest of the specification includes a profiled Ash body attached to 9ply Maple-Mahogany monolith neck, Mayones X2 series bridge, Schaller tuners and Straplocks.
