This Meatsmoke is basically the loudest, meanest, grittiest and most well-built amp you’re going to find. At 300 watts, there is no venue too big and no music too heavy for this head. We’re still recovering from our demo of this amp. It’s kind of like an old school SVT, but on steroids. The clean channel can go from smooth, tubey bass to punchy, tight growl, and the overdrive channel goes from spastic tonal mayhem to extreme spastic tonal mayhem. The distortion is rich, powerful and unrelenting but still very musical.

Though it was designed as a bass amp, many guitar players have realized that the Meatsmoke works wonderfully as a metal guitar amp as well. If you’re looking for serious volume, punch and grit, you’re not going to find something that’s put together better than the Meatsmoke.
