The juicy, harmonically rich overdriven sound you can get out of a cranked AC15 is one of the best sounds the guitar can make, and the clean sounds are crisp and sparkly up top, but with a dark, biting edge when you lean into it. It walks the line between British and American, which is the perfect tonal palette for a lot of players. This Limited Edition version of this great amp offers perpetually hip red styling. This Limited Edition Vox AC15 15-watt combo sports a classy but cool red design. It has three 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and two EL84 tubes in the power amp. You won’t have to replace the speaker in this combo any time soon: It’s outfitted with a 12″ Celestion G12M Greenback, a great speaker with incredible definition and balance. There are two inputs to choose from: normal and top boost. The on-board tremolo and reverb are easy to dial in, and they both sound organic. If you want to add some extra volume, there’s a switchable 8/16 ohm output jack. This is a great installment of one of the best amps of all time, and it won’t put a huge dent in your wallet to get it.
